Where are you located? Do you have in-person or virtual coaching?

I am based out of Cleveland, Ohio in the United States. Due to my certification being through the International Coaching Federation, I can practice trauma-informed coaching globally and I'd be happy to work with your time zone to find a time that works best. 1:1 Coaching is done virtually, but those who live in the Cleveland area are welcome to inquire about coaching in person. What is most important is that you are in a space that is safe and feels safe because that is where we will make the most progress towards your goals.

Question 2

Do I need to have experienced trauma to work with you?

Accepted Answer

Nope! I have a focus on trauma-informed care and violence against women but I welcome those who don't relate to the word "trauma" to work with me as well. You will receive all the benefits of life coaching, the only difference is that it would be through a trauma-informed lens, and all sessions are customized to the direct needs of the individual client.

What does it look like working with Lex for a 1:1 coaching session?

Working together in a 1:1 capacity prioritizes your healing to offer you specialized and unique support that is catered to you and what you are needing in the healing process. 1:1 work with me is rooted in safety, curiosity, and respect in which we slowly untangle the ways in which your past shows up in your present-day life. Clients will learn how to add more secure attachment to their life, accumulate tools to ride the waves of their emotions, and begin to feel safe in their bodies so they can make empowered choices in their life.

What is your cancellation policy?

Any cancellation prior to 48 hours of the session/event will be issued a credit toward another session.
Any cancellation within 48 hours of the session/event will not be credited as a credit or refund.

Question 5

How long are sessions? How often should we meet?

They are 60 minutes in length and conducted via Zoom. I encourage most clients to start either weekly or bi-weekly to establish a strong practitioner relationship and establish momentum towards your intentions for being here. Session frequency may be tapered as you progress and become more comfortable applying what you have learned in session.

What about rates and insurance?

My current rate for working 1:1 with humans is $100. This rate is based off of my expertise, training, and energetic exchange. We do hold a few spots for sliding scale clients, as we know this is a financial investment.

At this time, I am not able to take insurance because this is a coaching practice and while I utilize therapeutic elements, I am not a therapy practice. Though I have various trainings and understanding of crisis management and in complex trauma, I do not offer clinical advice and do not diagnose in this practice. If I feel a client is needing more structure due to their diagnostic background, I refer out. I do work with clients who have had a diagnosed disorder, however they come to me after having initial tools and resources implemented.
